Our daughter, Kehlani, was born with a spirit that outshines the challenges she’s faced. For much of her life, she has been battling a serious heart condition—a journey that has required immense bravery from such a small soul. After months of hospital stays and surgery, we reached the day we hoped would be her turning point.

A Critical Turn

On April 6, 2026, Kehlani underwent her second heart surgery. We walked into that day with hope, but the road has since become much steeper. The surgery did not go as planned, and Kehlani is currently in critical condition. She is fighting for her life in the ICU, and we are waiting by her side for any sign of progress. The uncertainty of these hours is a weight no parent should have to carry, yet here we are, watching and praying with every breath she takes.

Why We Need Your Help

As Kehlani fights, we—her parents—refuse to leave her side. We are living out of the hospital to be there for every update, every heartbeat, and every moment she needs us. However, being here means our world outside has had to stop.

The reality of a long-term hospital stay is overwhelming. We are facing:

• Daily living expenses (food, travel, and basic needs) while staying at the hospital.

• The loss of regular income while we focus entirely on Kehlani’s recovery.
