Aloha everyone,

My name is Kuuipo and I am the sister of Kehaulani Ortiz.

It is with heavy hearts we the family of Kehaulani got the news that our sister was diagnosed on March 20, 2025 with stage 4 Invasive ductal carcinoma breast cancer ER/PR (estrogen/ progesterone) positive that has mastastasized to her sternum, ribs, spine and bones.

Since her diagnosis she has continued to work tirelessly 5 days a week as the shift manager of Kauai Pasta mean while planning her wedding for September 20, 2025 with the wish to still be able to walk down the isle. Yet she is having to travel back and forth every 4 weeks to Queens Medical Center where she receives chemo implant treatment “zoladex” which has left her feeling side effects such as pain in her joints causing difficulty walking.

My sister wishes to receive further treatment at Hope 4 Cancer located in Mexico which unfortunately due to it being a holistic approach her medical insurance does not cover this treatment.

We the family are reaching out for any help you may be able to give, whether it is through prayer, sharing this post, or financially. Any amount helps and will be used for current medical bills, further treatment and expenses.
