Keegan, my daughter's boyfriend, is just 18 years old and has his whole life ahead of him. Recently, he was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that left him with multiple injuries. Thankfully, he was wearing his helmet, which helped prevent even more severe injuries. The accident has changed his life in an instant, and he now faces a long road to recovery. Keegan will need several surgeries and, for the foreseeable future, will be bedridden and reliant on a wheelchair.
