Hello, my name is Mysti Clanagan, a family friend of Keegan Holts. Keegan was a bright, vivacious, caring, and articulate 8-year-old boy from Detroit, MI, with a larger-than-life personality. He loved to dance and spend time on his computer games. He was known as everyone’s “Sunshine”. Please take a few moments to read his brief

story.

On Friday, January 10, 2025 Keegan suffered a grave asthma episode which rendered him unconscious, in ICU and not responding to any treatment. Doctors told his parents to prepare for his transition and they had the task of making a heartbreaking decision to remove him from life support. Today, January 17, 2025, about 4pm, the doctors called the time of death. Very few of us will ever know how it feels to hear those words about our child…with that said, WE NEED YOUR HELP! Any money donated will be used to secure funeral/burial expenses (including clothing for Keegan), as well as additional household and monetary needs. Whatever amount you’re willing to contribute is greatly appreciated. We ask that you give urgency to this matter so the family will not be stressed with the financial aspect of this unfortunate incident.
