Support for Keandrea’s Fight Against Stage 4 Breast Cancer

On February 10, 2023, our family’s world was turned upside down when my wife, Keandrea Spotser, was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer.

Keandrea began immunotherapy treatment, and while the treatment was effective, her quality of life suffered. In June 2024, a tumor on her liver ruptured, requiring multiple surgeries and forcing her to pause treatment. Surprisingly, while off therapy, she started to feel like herself again—her energy returned, and her smile lit up the room. She even got back to one of her passions: working out. Keandrea had dreams of becoming a personal trainer and was training toward that goal.

But in April 2025, everything changed. What started as what she thought was a pulled muscle in her hip turned out to be far more serious. By July, she was in unbearable pain and could barely walk. After visiting an orthopedic specialist, scans revealed the devastating news: the cancer had spread to her hip, femur, liver, sternum, and other areas of her body. Shortly after, her hip broke in two places due to the cancer, and she had to undergo emergency surgery.

Today, Keandrea is starting a new treatment plan with a new oncologist—one that gives her renewed hope. She is scheduled for radiation to strengthen her hip and will begin chemotherapy soon.

Through it all, Keandrea has shown incredible strength. She continues to teach, showing up for her students with a smile and her signature style, even while battling pain most of us could never imagine.
