Love & light in abundance, family,
My name is KC El, also known by my artist name Messi Amaru’Khan. I'm a Boston-born creative artist indigenous to the continent, holistic guide, community pillar (organizer), & the operations director at Heal the Hood (501c3), with my life focus being based around a holistic health approach to the balance of life from the physical body to our physical environment.
My artistry started to develop in August of 2023 when I launched the Sol Inspired open mic series to allow local creatives space to express, motivated by my love for their art which I feel not only connected to but inspired by. By October, I was writing poetry, and by November, I was writing music. This came as a complete shock to me because I was always shy & non-expressive creatively due to childhood trauma limiting my ability to express. With the combination of the self-healing work on myself that year, along with countless powerful voices around me, it started to naturally flow. A flow that I realized added another major layer to my healing journey, giving me the ability to express things that free my mind, body, & soul from the weight of the world. A flow that continues to advance daily that listeners love & appreciate as they feel the love, support of the words as well as the feeling of being seen & spoken for.
It is now March of 2025 (1 year & a half later). I am beyond proud to say I have completed my first poetry book, “Dear Sacred Divine,” (book blurb below)! I am reaching out because I am in need of financial assistance to complete this milestone with hopes to have copies available by my bornday with the accomplishment being a gift to myself. I would love & appreciate the support of my community (my family) helping me become a published author as you all collectively are a part of this accomplishment by way of being involved in my life journey from contributing to my experiences or motivating me to be greater. If you cannot contribute financially, sharing this with someone who may be able to would be equally appreciated. Aether way, I appreciate you all for taking time to read this. Enjoy the rest of your day. Peace & love in abundance.
Book blurb:
“Dear Sacred Divine, a soft touch of love that at times offers a sensual rush, dedicated to the divine femi9 spirit. A collection of expressive thoughts & emotions that takes you on a stimulating tour of your chakras with the sacral & heart chakras as major highlights: your right to feel, to want, to love, to be loved. How much you activate your solar plexus & throat chakras (your right to act, to speak, to be heard) is up to you.
Even if you do not identify with the divine femi9, many pieces offer insight on ways to connect & engage with the sacred divine ensuring their feeling of being heard, being seen, & feeling safe.”
