Hello, as all of my friends know, Kaziah was born with bilateral club feet. We have gone through a series of treatments including bracing, taping, casts, surgery, and stretching, and continued braces. His muscles are very tight, so he continues to relapse even with the treatment. Kaziah is a very mobile 7-month-old. He sits, likes to stand now, and pulls himself up to stand. The problem is he is not standing correctly because of his relapses. We will go back into casts to correct his feet, but after, we will need new braces. Our insurance is through my husband's job, and work has been extremely slow, so we are not qualified for his insurance because it is dependent on his hours. These braces would be a manageable cost if he was getting enough hours at work and we weren't already trying to keep up on our living expenses. I know funds are tight for everyone, so if you can't give, please don't feel obligated to.
