Helping Kaytlyn Brown Recover After a Tragic Head-On Collision

On Sunday, October 26th, my daughter Kaytlyn Brown and her partner were involved in a devastating head-on collision caused by a drunk driver while they were heading back to the station. The crash was so severe that it took first responders more than 25 minutes to free Kaytlyn from the ambulance.

Kaytlyn suffered bleeding on her brain, a fractured neck, three fractures in her pelvis, and multiple lacerations across her body. She has undergone one surgery so far and continues to receive critical care and medication as doctors monitor her closely.

Anyone who knows Kaytlyn knows how loving, caring, and dedicated she is — she truly loves her job and gives her all to helping others every single day. Now, she’s the one who needs help as she faces a long and difficult road to recovery.
