Still Fighting — Supporting Kay Through Ongoing Cancer Care

Hi, this is Amy and Andrew, and we’re writing on behalf of our amazing mom, Kayle (Kay), who is currently in treatment for Stage IV pancreatic cancer.

When we first launched this fundraiser, our family had just received the devastating news that mom’s cancer had already spread to her liver. It was overwhelming. In the weeks since, she has begun chemotherapy and is following a comprehensive, targeted holistic protocol — thoughtfully guided by her care team and rooted in research — to support her immune system and help her body stay as strong as possible.

Recent Update:

A recent PET scan brought some hopeful news: what initially appeared to be two liver lesions may now be only one, and her tumor marker levels have dropped significantly from 853 to 272! These are very meaningful wins, and they give us the strength to keep moving forward.
