Support Kay's Beautiful Memorial Service

Hello My name is Dana,

The picture that you see if my mom Kay.

She was placed on home hospice on Wednesday August the 14th 2024 her 64th birthday is August 21, 2024.

This is a very difficult thing for me to write about because reality is setting in for me day by day that very soon a matter of hours and days my mom my hero my children's grandmother will not be with us anymore, we had the expectation on her being with us for a while longer and things took a drastic turn for the worse. My mother has always been a fighter she is a previous cervical cancer survivor in 2002. This year in 2024 both her and my father have been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer. So we made the decision to move them in with my family so we could take care of them, we have a really big family of 9 my husband, myself and my 5 beautiful children, in one household but, I wouldn't have it any other way because I know they are being properly taken care of.

With my mom recently taking a turn for the worse I am trying to raise as much money as I can to help my mom with her last wishes and I just want her to have the beautiful memorial service that she so much deserves.

She is the rock of our family, she loves all her grandchildren more than anything in the world. She is a grandmother of 7. My brother James has 2 beautiful children as well.

During this difficult time we didn't expect for things to progress so quickly so I am sure anyone can understand how desperate I am to make sure things are finically ready for when my mom passes away.

I have decided to take a temporary leave of absence from work to be here with my mom so she is not alone, and to help my dad and children and myself process everything that is going on, so with doing this we are relying on just 1 income now which is my husband, he himself has taken several days off of work to be with me because of the emotional wreck I am right now.

This is the hardest thing I have ever had to do is write this short summary of her and make all these decisions to make sure my mom is celebrated the way that she deserves.

I could go on and on about what a wonderful Mother and Grandmother she is but unfortunately, I would run out of room on here,

so with that being said I just wanted to say if anyone is able to donate anything to help out with her funeral expenses as well as her memorial service it would be greatly appreciated so I can show all of her grandchildren how much she is loved and will be greatly missed!
