As some may know, on Dec. 18th, Kayline was in a car accident that will change her life. At no fault of her own, her neck and spine are severely damaged, and she underwent a 12-hour spinal surgery just hours after the accident. With the chance of not being able to walk again, she has a long and hard road to recovery both physically and emotionally. This is a very life-altering event.
She has always loved the outdoors! From hiking, camping, and backpacking in the summer, to her annual trips to Alaska for fishing and her winters full of skiing.
She cherishes her family and friends and has become so close to so many amazing people over the years.
She is so loved and valued by everyone in her life, from home to work and everyone in between.
She is fighting so hard and receiving so much emotional help and encouragement. Any and all help is greatly appreciated; there will be tremendous medical bills and a chance of altering a home for a wheelchair, etc.
Kayline has been in the ICU for 4 days now and is making small improvements. Every day is something new.
