Help Kayline Heal: Fighting for Her Life After a Tragic Accident
On 12/18/2024, our dear friend and colleague, Kayline, was in a devastating car accident that has left her fighting for her life. She was stopped at a traffic light when a Chevy Avalanche traveling over 50 mph struck her from behind. The crash caused a multi-car collision, and Kayline suffered severe injuries, leaving her unable to feel anything below her waist. The doctors say she will face at least 6 months of recovery ahead, and the road to full recovery is uncertain.
Kayline means so much to so many people. As a valued team member at Bonneville Asphalt, she’s known for her dedication, hard work, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Her colleagues—Russell Johns, Matt Messerly, Marie LeRoy, and Gloria Hardy—hold her in the highest regard, as does the entire team. Kayline is the backbone of our operations, running a tight ship with a fair yet firm approach that inspires respect from everyone. Even when she’s had to hold people accountable, her dedication to making things run smoothly shines through.
Outside of work, Kayline is a cherished friend who loves the outdoors. She finds peace and joy hiking the trails of Pleasant Grove and the Timp Mountains. That’s why we’ve filmed our video outdoors—an homage to the places that bring her peace and strength.
This accident has changed her life in an instant, and she now faces mounting medical bills for surgeries, rehabilitation, and ongoing care. She has always been there for us, and now it’s our turn to support her. Her recovery will require extensive care, and every dollar donated will go toward the cost of her treatments.
We are deeply grateful for the loving care provided by her daughters, Alex and Kori, and her sister, Angii, during this incredibly difficult time. Their strength and support reflect the deep bond they share with Kayline and their commitment to her recovery.
Please consider contributing to Kayline’s recovery, and keep her in your prayers. Every dollar counts and will make a difference in getting her the care she needs.
If you’ve had the privilege of knowing Kayline, you know how deeply she impacts everyone she meets. She’s a fighter, and with your help, we believe she can overcome this.
