Dearest Friends and Family!

I wanted to take a moment and share about the incredible opportunity the Lord has blessed me with!

From December 27, 2025 - January 3, 2026, I have the incredible opportunity to travel to Belize with 7 other nursing students from Indiana Wesleyan University for our Transcultural Nursing Practicum!

During this trip, we’ll be:

We will also be focusing on health education and preventative care, providing basic healthcare support to people who may not otherwise have access, while learning so much from their culture in return.

This trip is also for serving a greater mission. As we care for people physically, we’ll also be sharing the love and light of Jesus Christ. Belize, with a population of about 410,000, includes many who are spiritually searching, 15% claim no religious affiliation, and another 11% follow non-Christian faiths. We’ll be partnering with CSI Ministries, a Christian organization that organizes short-term mission trips across Central and South America. Why This Trip Means So Much to Me

This is more than just a trip, instead, it will give me the opportunity to serve the people of Belize through my nursing career while also showing Christ's love by being the hands and feet of Jesus. I am so excited to serve these people, physically and spiritually, with compassion, humility, and kindness. I believe strongly that nursing is not just a career that heals individuals physically, but also a profession that provides care emotionally and spiritually by ministering to hearts. I cannot wait to see the ways in which the Lord will work through this team, the people we serve, and even my own heart at we go!
