Hello my name is Kayle, My mom, Laura just got diagnosed with stage 2 or 3 esophagus cancer. She have’s to get chemo and radiation for 6 weeks. Then after that she will have to get surgery to remove her esophagus to get rid of the cancer and reattach some of her stomach make a new esophagus. The procedure is 8 to 10 hours along and she will have to stay at the hospital for 7 days. Our family is absolutely devastated with finding out this terrible news.
