Support Kaylee's Recovery

On the morning of November 26th, Kaylee Cardenas, a beloved daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, was involved in a terrible single-car accident in Brookfield, Connecticut.

Through the grace of God, she was freed from her flaming vehicle by a heroic motorist, a firefighter returning home from his own station, as the local Brookfield Fire Department and Medics rushed to her aid. If not for the quick response of all the heroes responsible for her rescue and emergency care that morning, she would not be with us today.

She is currently in serious but stable condition in the hospital, requiring multiple surgeries and burn care after sustaining injuries to her spine, face, arms, legs, & ankle. Kaylee is awake; her long road to recovery will consist of more surgery for broken bones, wound care, and extensive rehabilitation.

Kaylee is surrounded by her loving family, who are hoping for a positive and successful recovery. We humbly ask that you keep Kaylee and her family in your thoughts. The creation of this GoFundMe is to provide a channel for those who are willing and able to contribute towards the cost of her care and recovery.

Our only priority is to ensure Kaylee makes it through this terrible accident and is able to continue her young life as healthy and whole as possible; we are incredibly grateful for anyone contributing aid on this front. Donations will benefit all medical costs, rehabilitation, and recovery.
