Support Kaylee's Battle Against POTS
Donation protected
In December of 2023 Kaylee woke up like any normal day. Throughout the day Kaylee fainted multiple times with the reason being unknown. After multiple weeks of repetitive fainting, she ended up at the doctor. After tests were done, the doctors found out that Kaylee was not only fainting but seizing regularly due to an undiagnosed autoimmune disease known as POTS.
POTS is an incurable autoimmune disease that causes your heart to beat faster than normal when transitioning from sitting or lying down to standing up. This causes a variety of symptoms and each case of POTS is different. In Kaylee's case, POTS causes frequent fainting episodes accompanied by seizures that are severely damaging the left side of her brain. Kaylee has gone through multiple testings, medications, treatments and physical therapy to try and help manage her symptoms.
As many of you may or may not know Kaylee has worked at Leff's for the past 3 years, but due to her symptoms she has been unable to consistently work for the past 5 months. While Kaylee is still able to work a couple times a month she can only work for a few hours at a time. This not only puts a great amount of stress on her body, but also causes immense stress in trying to afford medication and pay for medical bills.
Over the past 3 years Kaylee has been an incredible and hardworking employee at Leff's. Not only is she an incredible worker but if you know her personally or have gotten to know her over the years from Leff's you know how amazing of a person she truly is. Kaylee is one of the most selfless, kind, funny, smart and caring individuals around.
We are starting this fundraiser to help alleviate some of the financial burden on Kaylee. If she has impacted your life in anyway personally or through Leff's we ask that you please help out in any way you can! Your contribution no matter the amount will make a significant difference in Kaylee's journey. Thank you for taking the time to read her story and for considering donating.
Thank you all for your kindness and support!
