Hi, my name is Kayla, and I’m creating this fundraiser to honor my mom’s memory with a headstone or memorial plaque.

Losing her has been one of the most painful experiences of my life. She was the heart of our family—especially to her grandbabies, who she loved more than anything. I want to give her a resting place that reflects the love, strength, and beauty she gave to all of us.

I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor, Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor, and a doctoral student in Clinical Psychology. I wouldn’t have made it this far without my mom’s unwavering support, love, and belief in me. She was my biggest cheerleader, and even in her absence, I plan to continue honoring her by living out the values she instilled in me—compassion, resilience, and service to others.
