Support Kayla's Recovery After Tragic Accident

I got a frantic call Tuesday night from my parents, my little cousin Kayla had been in a terrible car accident on the interstate with a tractor trailer, we all rushed to the hospital as she was arriving by ambulance. There were visible injuries, broken front teeth and lacerations to her face, but she sustained brain injuries as well, a brain bleed and a blood clot on the brain. There have been no changes to the MRIs and scans, Kayla has a sever concussion and is having cognitive difficulties, speaking, remembering, and understanding. Kayla has a long road ahead of her to recovery. Today she was supposed to graduate from cosmetology school, she was supposed to be starting her life as a hard working 19 year old starting a new career. That isn’t happening today for Kayla. The worst part, Kayla was deemed at fault for the accident and has no health insurance coverage or dental insurance coverage. On top of the physical injuries that will cause her significant set backs Kayla will also have thousands of dollars in medical bills and dental expenses.
