I met Kayla while we were working together at Victoria’s Secret during college, and from the very beginning she was a bright light to everyone around her. Even knowing she was dealing with personal struggles, she always showed up with kindness, encouragement, and a genuine willingness to support others. Her hardships never made her unkind—if anything, they had the opposite effect and made her even more compassionate. After I left, we lost touch, but I never forgot how kind and uplifting she was to work with.

Now Kayla is facing one of her toughest battles yet: thyroid cancer. She’s had to return to work and daily life after surgery and a near-death experience, all while trying to heal. Kayla would never be the type of person to ask for help, but the reality is that she truly needs it right now.
