On March 28, our dear friend Kayla had a devastating accident occur at her home. While grilling with family, her propane tank exploded, causing Kayla to suffer third degree burns on 40% of her body. She has been in and out of the burn unit for more than a week and will have to be out of work for at least another month while she rehabilitates and heals.

Kayla's entire life is dedicated to helping others. She is a physician's assistant in Phoenix, caring for people daily, guiding them through tough times, and being there when they need her most. She is a friend, confidant, sister, and mother. Kayla is the kind of person who will give you the shirt off her back, host you for a meal, and lend an ear in your time of need. She has three little kids who she loves more than anything. She has been there for all of us, and now it's our time to be there for her.

We are looking to our community to help support Kayla during this challenging time.
