Support Kayla's Fight for Kayden's Recovery

My name's Kayla and my dog was attacked on 12/31/24 at 7 AM, 3 feet from my patio. We were on our normal morning walk while a non-tenant had her dogs in my complex, and her dog grabbed my dog by the neck and almost killed her. During this, I broke three fingers from also being bit by the dog.

My dog has lacerations all around her neck, a 6-inch wound, and her skin is dying around the neck from all the bruising, etc. Kayden is 14 and has zero health issues prior to this.s I have reported this to the police, animal control, and so on. I have hired a lawyer, but I won’t see any money for almost two years.

I have had to pay almost 5 grand already & Kayden needs 3 months of wound care which is $86 every 3 days. This has affected my family not just financially but emotionally and physically. If the lawsuit goes through, I will pay back anyone who’s been kind enough to help. I have proof of all my bills and everything else. Thanks again and please send some prayers our way!
