Hi friends! Izzy here! This is my amazing, beautiful, kind, one of the dearest people in my life, bestest friend, Kayla. She got some horrible news last month while getting a CT scan and MRI for unrelated back pain, that she has a mass in her right kidney. Further tests and a biopsy later confirmed the worst news imaginable....cancer. Thankfully, the cancer is contained only to the right kidney and has not spread anywhere outside....unfortunately, it also means she has to lose the right kidney as it is too dangerous to just remove the mass without dangerous bleeding. She is 35, full of life, has 7 kids between her husband and herself and is an amazing para at CIS! The kids love her so much and my own girls refer to her as "second mom" ♥️. Kayla is never one to ask for help, she takes everything in stride and works hard for her family, but this is beyond stressful and she is going to be down for recovery for quite some time. This is where I need my AMAZING friends!! Let's get her some peace of mind and help her to pay some bills and the ever rising medical debt that is coming from it (being a Para means ZERO health insurance). All I want Kayla to worry about is resting, healing and kicking cancers butt! I have fantastic friends and family that have come through in big ways for me in my lowest times, let's pull together for this phenomenal woman! ♥️
