If you're reading this, thank you. This is hard for me to do. My name is Kayla, im a single mom of 3 beautiful kids and at least 6 now adult kids that have adopted me as their mom over the last 10 years. My 11 year old son and I were in a head on car accident on the 29th of August. I was on my way to drop him off at school that morning, when the driver came into our lane hitting my driver side head on, flipping us a couple of times. With the power of protection from our guardian angels and the church we wrecked in front of, we are still alive to tell our story and love eachother and our families longer. Though we didn't suffer any broken bones, the impact and injuries we both have has made it to where I can't walk or have full use of my right shoulder/arms/ribs. My son has to be seen for his back, shoulder and knee. Our ptsd about driving to school every morning has me putting aside my pride, and asking for help with getting a bigger, more safe SUV. The car that got totalled was the smallest car I've owned since I didn't have any kids. That was my work/daily driver for the last couple months. The insurance is totalling it out but it's not going to be enough for a safe reliable SUV. The amount I just paid for it is a loss. I'm asking for help to be able to buy a big enough vehicle that I can safely fit my family in, thats reliable for a long time. It's going to be awhile before we are healed internally from our injuries. I'm mom, I have 3 young kids at home, I do all the driving, grocery shopping, all school events, driving 15 miles to drop off and pick up my son. He's very uncomfortable in cars and with anyone else driving, except me. He doesn't like even talking about this day with anyone but me. His feelings has made me ask for help to get into a vehicle we can feel comfortable in until he's driving on his own. I don't ask for help very often but appreciate all the love and healing energy I've received from so many people, even ones I've never met, have touched my heart. We will continue to heal and count our blessings everyday for being here to love our people longer. Anything you can do to help us in this part of the process, sharing even helps so much! We will always pay it forward with anything we can ❤️ thanks for being here this long, Sincerely, Kayla (33)& Dominik(11)(one kick ass survivor )
