Support Kayla's Dream: Nursing Education Fund

My name is Kayla Valdez. I currently work at Valley Baptist part-time as a PCT and am a full-time student at Valley Baptist School of Vocational Nursing. I have been in the program for about 6 months now. My current financial situation has created a barrier with my school payments. I make around $1,400 monthly payments on tuition and my personal finances aside from that. I am currently only working the weekends, so it does not support enough for my goal.

My love and passion for nursing has grown as I've worked at the stroke unit for 2 years. It is such a rewarding job that I would not want to lose; therefore, pursuing higher education will lead me and enhance the care I will provide for anyone in need. I know for a fact God put me on this earth with hands for me to heal those that are weak and nurture them back to health. I treat patients with dignity and compassion as if they were one of my loved ones, and my dream is to keep on doing what I love.
