In 2023, I became a full-time caregiver to my niece. Overnight, I had to learn how to become a mother and provide the best support possible to ensure her mental health and safety after she experienced trauma. This journey opened my eyes to the importance of mental health services for children, and I found myself growing and learning alongside her every day.

Through this experience, I earned my master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and discovered a deep passion for clinical psychology. As I continued to work with children and families, I realized how much I wanted to make a difference in the lives of those who have experienced trauma. Taking a leap of faith, I applied to the PsyD Program in Clinical Psychology at the University of the Pacific—and I am so grateful to have been accepted.

However, the cost of tuition is significant, and each semester brings new financial challenges. The funds raised here will go directly toward my tuition and educational materials, helping me continue my education and support my niece. I am committed to becoming a clinical psychologist not only for my own growth and stability, but also to give back to my community.
