Kayla is known for her caring heart and unwavering loyalty to those around her. Now, she is facing one of the toughest challenges of her life, and the community has a chance to rally around her in her time of need.

Towards the end of August, Kayla began experiencing unusual lower left back pain. Trusting her instincts, she scheduled a doctor’s appointment, which led to a series of tests and scans. The results were devastating: Classic Hodgkin Lymphoma cancer, Stage 3, with cancer found around her liver and in her chest. Since then, Kayla has undergone a port placement and started chemotherapy, which will continue for six months and require 12 rounds of treatment. The journey has been filled with ER visits, complications, and the emotional toll of fighting cancer. Because of the risk of infection from germs in the workplace, she is unable to work during treatment, adding financial stress to an already difficult situation.

The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward Kayla's medical expenses, medications, travel for treatment, chemotherapy, and everyday bills.
