On Saturday, February 14th, I suffered spinal fractures of T 3 and 4, as well as other minor injuries to my neck, chest, lower back, pelvis, legs and teeth, from a snowboarding accident. The injuries have left me unable to move around freely or do daily tasks on my own. I’m currently out of work as I focus on recovery. It’s still early on, but has been a difficult adjustment, both physically and emotionally, as I navigate the challenges of healing and the uncertainty of when I’ll be able to return to my normal life.
The road ahead is unclear, but I know physical therapy will be approaching, as well as more medical visits. I will be unable to work for a while, which is going to be hard to keep up with everyday living expenses. I’m reaching out for support to help cover these costs so I can focus on getting better without the added stress of financial worries.
If you’re able to help, whether by donating or sharing my story, it would mean so much to me. Your support will make a real difference in my journey back to health. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for any help you can offer.
