My name is Kaylah Morilus, I'm incredibly excited to share that I’ve been accepted into Boston University’s Master’s program in Afro-American Studies and Black Diaspora Studies! This opportunity means the world to me — not just as a student, but as a second-generation Haitian American passionate about exploring, preserving, and elevating Black history, culture, and voices. Especially during this time in the country where education is being dismantled, I think it is important for me to be a part of the movement to combat this attack.
