Our incredible friend Kayla was recently diagnosed with an aggressive form of Stage 3 lymphoma.

Kayla is more than a world-class friend, partner, and mother—she’s a rock for many people, and often the first to step in and extend care during a crisis. Now she’s facing a crisis of her own, and we want her to know she’s not alone.

Kayla, Scott, and their 2-year-old daughter Esme live in Mexico City, but will temporarily relocate to the U.S. for specialized cancer care and to be closer to friends and family during Kayla's intensive chemotherapy regimen. Alongside navigating the weight of a cancer diagnosis, they’ll need to secure housing in a new city. We’re raising funds so that Kayla, Scott, and Esme can focus on Kayla’s recovery without the added stress of financial uncertainty, and maintain freedom to pursue the best possible treatment options for Kayla.

Funds raised will help support:

- Temporary relocation costs, including rent for furnished housing near the hospital in Dallas

- Medical expenses not covered by insurance

-Childcare for Esme
