Hello! My name is Kayla Hayes and I'm a student who attends the Rhode Island School of Design! Although a lot of my work pertains to product design, user experience, and material research, a large portion of my practice also relates to sustainability and environmental consciousness! This year I was admitted into a study abroad course, and I have the wonderful opportunity to study the art of conservation in South Africa. Although I've received some funding for the trip from my scholarship, the remaining amount would be a challenge for my family to afford. This being my Senior year at Risd, this will be my last chance to partake in this opportunity.

For my goal I really need to hit a deadline of at least 1,000 by the 23rd to help partially cover the tuition!
