Hi, my name is Kayla Anthony. After months of applying, interviewing, and pushing through countless setbacks, I’ve been offered a full-time opportunity in the media industry — something I’ve worked toward for years. The job starts soon in Los Angeles, and it’s a chance to finally begin the career I’ve dreamed of.

But right now, I’m in Georgia, and life has been extremely hard. My dad is battling cancer, and my mom is dealing with a lot as well. I’ve been doing everything I can to stay afloat, working long hours at a security job while applying for better opportunities, but it’s been difficult to save. 

This job means more than just a pay check — it’s hope. It’s a chance to rebuild, to grow, and to eventually help my family after everything we’ve been through. I’ve spent months trying to turn things around, and now that the door has finally opened, I just need a little help walking through it.

I’m hoping to raise $2,000 to cover expenses between my move to Georgia to California whether it be groceries, money towards rent, travel necessities and more.

Every dollar — and every share — helps me take one step closer to stability and to a future where I can give back to the people who’ve supported me most.
