My name is Kayla, and I’m a mom to two beautiful, resilient girls who are my whole world. Like so many parents, my deepest desire is to keep my children safe, loved, and secure. Recently, our lives were turned upside down when we were unexpectedly removed from our home—something I never imagined we would face.

This season has been one of the hardest I’ve ever walked through. I am still working and doing everything I can to provide for my girls, but this sudden change has stretched us in ways I wasn’t prepared for. There have been moments of fear and uncertainty, and moments where I’ve had to be strong on the outside while quietly holding it together on the inside—for them.

We are now facing the reality of relocating, which brings moving expenses, housing costs, and the challenge of rebuilding a sense of normalcy. My prayer is to give my daughters peace—to help them feel safe and grounded even when our circumstances feel unsettled. I remind them, and myself, that God is close even in the unknown, and that we are never walking alone.

Asking for help has not come easily. We initially shared our situation only with a small circle, hoping to find a solution quietly. While there has been love and effort, we’ve reached a point where we need support beyond what our immediate community can provide. This journey has felt isolating at times, but I’m choosing to trust that God places people in our lives for a reason—and that sometimes His provision comes through others.
