My name is Chris Schmiedel. I'm here to request help and needed funds for my Daughter Kayla & Son-in-law Caleb.

Recently their 2 month old son Eli was diagnosed with, and had surgery for a Double aortic arch/Vascular ring, which was constricting his airway. This issue was initially misdiagnosed as Tracheomalacia (another type of airway obstruction). His recovery from surgery will be at least 2 months, with many more Dr's appointments to come.

Due to the complex nature of all of this, and continued issues, it has greatly affected many issues in their lives including their ability to work a normal schedule, and many missed work days all together.
