My name is Alix and I am raising money for a friend and coworker's family. On Friday, May 9th, Kayla and her family experienced a devastating house fire that destroyed their home and nearly all of their belongings, including their beloved cats and dogs. Thankfully, she and her family made it out safely, but they are now facing the unimaginable challenge of rebuilding their lives from scratch.

Kayla has worked for Chestatee Emergent Medical Care for two and a half years. Those of us who know Kayla know how kind, hardworking, and generous she is. She is the type of person who always shows up for others — whether it’s covering a shift, lending a helping hand, or offering advice on a tough day.
