Our mother and mema, Kaye Jones, is the heart of our family. She’s a loving mother to three children, a proud grandmother to seven, and a doting great-grandmother to two. Kay cherishes every moment with her family, especially her great-grandchildren, and loves spending time with her sister watching their favorite shows. Her warmth and kindness have always brought us together, and she’s the one we all turn to for support and comfort.

Recently, Kay was diagnosed with stage 3 lung cancer. The diagnosis has changed everything for us. She now faces a demanding treatment schedule—radiation therapy five days a week and chemotherapy once a week for six weeks. The treatments have taken a toll on her health, making it difficult for her to walk and breathe. She can no longer hold her great-grandchildren, and our family is doing everything we can to help her through each day. The emotional and financial strain has been overwhelming as we try to keep things moving forward for her.

We’re raising funds to help cover the costs of Kay’s radiation and chemotherapy treatments, as well as the gas needed to drive to the cancer center every day and other medical expenses that continue to arise. Right now, she owes her oncologist and needs to pay that bill immediately, and her next round of treatment starts on the 10th.
