Kayden is a bright, outgoing 13-year-old who attends Word of God Academy and lives in Shreveport, Louisiana near Cross Lake. He’s always been known for his intelligence and positive spirit, but his life changed suddenly after a devastating car accident that took his mother and left Kayden with severe injuries. He’s currently in the ICU at LSU hospital, recovering from multiple surgeries, including a broken arm, several broken ribs, and a serious eye injury. The road ahead is long, and Kayden will need ongoing medical care, therapy, and support to heal both physically and emotionally.


As Kayden’s father, I am doing everything I can to be by his side and help him through this unimaginable time. I’ve had to move in with family to make sure Kayden is cared for, and I’m searching for work while trying to put our lives back together. The loss of his mother and the trauma of the accident have deeply affected both of us, and we’re facing expenses for medical bills, therapy, medicine, and daily needs. Every contribution will go directly to Kayden’s recovery and well-being, helping us cover the costs that we never expected to face.
