Support Kayden's Fight for Proper Healthcare

Donation protected
Hey everyone,

Today is my birthday, and instead of asking for gifts, I’m asking for something much more meaningful - your support in helping me take the next step in my journey as a transgender man.

I’m a seahorse dad, which means I gave birth to my two beautiful kids after starting my transition. Being able to carry and birth my children was an incredible experience, but it also left me with physical changes that don’t align with who I am as a man. In November, I had a procedure to fix diastasis recti (separated abdominal muscles from pregnancy), and I specifically requested liposuction as part of the treatment. Unfortunately, the surgeon’s office didn’t follow through on the liposuction, and when I brought this to their attention, they refused to correct their error.

This experience has been frustrating and disheartening, but it’s also made me realize I need to take control of my own healthcare journey. I’ve decided to pursue body masculinization - a gender-affirming procedure that will help me feel more comfortable and confident in my body.
This year has been incredibly difficult for transgender people, especially Black trans folks who face additional layers of discrimination and violence. Despite these challenges, I’m choosing to live authentically and fight for the healthcare I deserve. But I can’t do this alone.
Body masculinization is expensive, and insurance coverage for gender-affirming care is often limited or non-existent. The procedure I need will help create a more masculine chest and torso contour, allowing me to feel more at home in my body as I continue raising my kids and living my life.

As a parent, I want my children to see that it’s worth fighting for who you are. I want them to know that their dad didn’t give up when things got tough. Your support isn’t just helping me - it’s helping me show my kids what it means to persevere and live authentically.

Every donation, no matter the size, brings me closer to feeling whole. If you can’t donate, sharing this campaign with your network means the world to me. Thank you for taking the time to read my story and for considering supporting my journey.

With gratitude and hope,

Kayden Coleman

P.S. If you’re also part of the trans community and struggling with accessing healthcare, please know you’re not alone. We’re stronger together.
