Hello everyone! My name is Kaydene Johnson and I have never set up a GoFundMe before and don't feel entirely comfortable now, but I feel compelled with the situation my family and fellow Jamaicans on the island are facing. I am sure that everyone who is reading this is aware of the unimaginable devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa on October 28th of this year. According to the media, a lot of donations and relief efforts are underway, but for most, help is not able to reach them fast enough. I have family members who have no electricity, food, or even water to drink, bathe, or even use the restroom. One family member is an expectant mother with 4 children and a set of twins on the way.

No donation is too small. All money donated will be used to purchase essentials that they no longer have. The funds will be sent via Western Union to them in Jamaica. Thank you in advance for your generosity.
