I have known Kaydence Carpenter since she was a small child. I babysat her many years ago while her mom worked. I grew up with her mother in church where my dad pastored. We have remained close over the years, and her mother will soon stand beside me in my wedding.

Like so many others, I have watched their lives be turned upside down in recent days and have witnessed an outpouring of love and concern from those who want to support Kaydence during this difficult time.

After learning that unauthorized and fraudulent GoFundMe accounts were created in her name, I wanted to step in and create a single, official place where those who have been asking how to help can do so confidently.

Kaydence is a 20-year-old college student who has worked hard for her future, including earning recognition on the President's list at her school. She is currently navigating a challenging road ahead as she goes though the legal process and it's many demands, and has also had to step away from work at this time.

Funds raised will go directly toward supporting Kaydence during this difficult time, including legal expenses, vehicle related costs such as repairs needed now, and helping ensure she has the resources needed for her health, well being, and stability moving forward.
