As many of you have seen on the news or through social media or even reaching out to us from hearing word from someone else, this morning our son was a victim of a hit and run! Kayden Gruver who was only 21 years old was walking down US 12 and someone hit him, and left him! He was found several hours latter by someone who called in his accident. His mother and I are as you can image overcome with emotions. Anger towards the person who did this to our son and left him there alone, we have so many questions but are left with no answers, and the loss is so great! HIS MOTHER is broken hearted and numb, his brothers are confused and in shock. And to add to all this we have to figure out how to pay for a proper burial to honor kayden and give those who loved him in life a chance to say good bye. Something No mother or parent should ever have to face! Again, on top of the stress knowing the person responsible is living their life while our son sits in a morgue waiting for the investigation to be over so he can be laid to rest. We ask at this time that you take a moment to understand our grief and also help if your able to lighten that by donating to help lay our son to rest, as with all thats going on we also have to face the challenge of picking out a casket, setting up his funeral arrangements, picking out his FINAL outfit to be laid to rest in none of which we were prepared for or expecting.
