Hi, I’m Kaya.

I’m a trans woman. I’m currently dealing with a sudden financial emergency after being unexpectedly let go from a new job.

The situation happened shortly after I used the women’s restroom at work and was told it was “a violation of state law,” which I know is not applicable in this situation.

The timing left me without any financial buffer.

With help from my community, I was able to cover my immediate utility bills and avoid shutoffs, which I’m incredibly grateful for.

But I still don’t have income coming in and need help covering basic living expenses, food (including for my cats), and rent while I work through next steps.

I’m actively applying for new work and working to stabilize. This is a short-term gap I’m trying to bridge.
