Dear Friends,

I am reaching out on behalf of my dear friend, Kay McElroy, who is in need of support during an unimaginable time of loss and heartache. Kay and I have had the blessing of growing closer to the Lord together through Christian Student Fellowship at the University of Kentucky, and it is with a heavy heart that I share her current situation.

Recently, Kay faced the unexpected loss of her beloved mother. While traveling to lay her mother to rest, tragedy struck again when Kay and her family were involved in a devastating car accident. In this heartbreaking event, her precious 8-month-old niece lost her life.

I humbly ask first and foremost for your prayers. Please pray for Kay, her sister, and their family as they navigate this overwhelming journey of grief. They are in deep need of God’s comfort, strength, and peace during this time.

Secondly, if you feel led, I ask for your financial support to assist Kay and her sister in covering funeral expenses, and providing for essential needs such as clothing and hygiene products that were also lost. No amount is too small, and any help is deeply appreciated as they work to rebuild in the midst of this tragedy.
