Remembering Jennifer. Caring for Kay.

Hi all, I’m Kristin. I have the privilege of working with and knowing Kay Handy.

On Tuesday, December 4th, Kay tragically and unexpectedly lost her daughter, Jennifer. As many of you know, Kay selflessly cared for and supported her daughter through many trials. Her love for Jennifer was demonstrated and felt.

Losing a child is not something any parent should ever have to experience. Those of you who know Kay know what a kind, caring, and giving person Kay is. Kay does not have any blood relatives here in Minnesota, but she has her work family at MNGI. Kay never hesitates to help out others, so I’m asking for us to do the same for her during this time of loss.

The fundraising goal has been made in hopes to help cover funeral home expenses as well as travel for Kay back to Ohio where a memorial will be held for Jennifer. I will continue to update this with anything else Kay might need, but if you have any questions please do not hesitate to reach out to me!!
