Support for Kavon
Dymond is starting this fundraiser for their little brother, Kavon. Kavon is a college athlete at the College of San Mateo who is always smiling and full of light and life. He is known for mentoring those younger than him, working hard, and staying grounded in his faith. To know Kavon is to know someone who is humble, funny, charismatic, and deeply loved by family and friends. Recently, Kavon was involved in a serious car accident and suffered severe injuries. As his loved ones focus on being there for him through hospitalization and the long road of rehabilitation ahead, the family is also facing the added strain of being more than an hour away from him. His first milestone includes about 3 months of recovery time for one of his injuries and rehab, but his overall journey may be much longer.
This fundraiser will help ease some of that burden so Kavon’s family can stay close and support him during recovery. Donations will go toward food and a place for family to stay near the hospital and rehab center, rehabilitation costs not covered by insurance, and any additional support the family may need as they help Kavon through this difficult time. Because Kavon’s care and recovery needs will continue over time, recurring donations can help the family plan for ongoing stays near the hospital and rehab center, regular meals, and continuing rehab-related expenses as this journey unfolds. One-time donations are also deeply appreciated and will make an immediate difference. If you are able, please consider giving. The family is also grateful for meal prep, unwavering prayers for Kavon’s recovery, and words of encouragement to help keep his spirits high. Every act of kindness will mean so much as Kavon faces this battle with the strength and faith so many know him for.
