Support Kavita’s Family During Their Time of Grief

Peacefully and surrounded by loved ones, on February 12th, 2025, Kavita Kawal Maharaj entered eternal rest to be with the Lord. Kavita leaves behind her parents Susan and Mahadeo, her brother Nicholas, her children Mya, Christina, Christian, and Chrissy, and many dear family members and friends.

This fundraiser is to support Kavita’s family in their time of grief. Funds will be used for funeral expenses and other unforeseen costs at this time.

Kavita dedicated herself to uplifting her community, providing support to the vulnerable, and offering kindness to anyone who crossed her path. Her laughter always filled the room and the hearts of those she met. Everyone who had the privilege of meeting Kavita, whether for a moment or a lifetime, felt the warmth of her compassionate spirit.

We remember Kavita’s strength and how she chose faith over fear in all that she did. Kavita has given so much love and care to her community leaving an everlasting mark on the lives of those she touched. Her legacy is one of strength, joy and faith. She will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends and all whose lives she touched with her unwavering love.
