Katya Garnica is a dedicated 15-year-old fencer from Tijuana, representing Elite International Fencers Club in San Diego, CA. She has shown incredible discipline, resilience, and passion for her sport, and recently qualified for a spot in the Mexican National Team in the 2026 Pan-American Championships in Bogota, Colombia. This prestigious event brings together the top young fencers from across the Americas, and for Katya, it represents a major milestone in her athletic journey.

Katya has worked tirelessly to reach this level, training countless hours and overcoming challenges along the way. Competing at the Pan-American Championships is not only a dream come true for her, but also an opportunity to attend her first competition on the international stage.
