Support Katy Potocki Sanchez's Family After Her Brave Battle

Donation protected
On Saturday July 5th, 2025, we lost our dear friend Katy Potocki Sanchez. In 2017, months after their wedding, at age 28, Katy was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme IV, an aggressive form of brain cancer. After surgery, coupled with radiation and chemotherapy, she was able to enter a clinical trial at Cleveland Clinic that helped control her cancer for years.

During this time, she lived a life full of positivity and joy as she and her husband celebrated the births of their daughter and son, both via surrogacy.

Unfortunately, in early 2024 it was discovered that her cancer had returned. She endured additional treatment for over a year but sadly lost her battle.

She previously attended University of Michigan for undergrad and law school at University of Toledo before practicing medical malpractice defense law in southeast Michigan.

Katy was 36 years old and left behind a devoted husband and 2 young children (ages 4 and 1). We would love to be able to help her family by raising money to ensure they have everything they need. Anything you can donate is appreciated. If you are unable to donate, feel free to share the link with anyone who may know Katy or her family.

Please keep her family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Thank you!
