Our beloved Katy has recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer. While we are still awaiting details about her condition and treatment plan, we know she’s facing additional treatments in the near future.

As she begins this journey, we want to support her the same way she has supported so many others throughout her life.

For over 20 years, Katy dedicated herself to working with middle school students in Sonoma County, creating a safe and welcoming space where kids felt supported, understood, and valued. Her unique ability to connect with young people allowed them to grow in confidence during some of the most challenging years of their lives.

Mentorship is only the beginning of Katy’s compassionate contributions. She has spent decades providing essential care to both youth and the elderly, always giving her time and energy without hesitation. Even in retirement, Katy continues to give back as a volunteer with the Sonoma Speaker Series, always ready to lend her time and energy to enrich the lives of others. She has never stopped serving her community.

This fundraiser will help ease the financial burden of cancer treatment so Katy can focus on what matters most: healing.
