Please join me in my fundraising for my friend Kate.

In August 2025, Kate was diagnosed with stage 3 Breast cancer.

A large lump was detected in her breast and she had surgery immediately to try to remove it. Unfortunately, the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes, which meant she had to undergo another surgery but unfortunately, yet again, after biopsy results, the cancer was still present.

Kate has now got a long journey ahead of her, having started chemotherapy and awaiting more surgery, radio therapy and hormone therapy.

I have set up this page because she needs help. For the past two years she has had it incredibly tough. She had her world turned upside down and just when she was starting to get her life back on track, she was hit with this awful disease.

Katy is a warrior and is showing unbelievable strength and even inspiring others by documenting her journey. But over the next few months, she’ll be undergoing chemotherapy, which means shes unable to work and will be facing some financial challenges.

Katy’s always tried to manage on her own, but right now she needs some help to cover essential personal expenses while she focuses on getting through treatment.
