Support Katy and Matt in Their Time of Need

Dear friends. Please join us in providing support for Katy and Matt Jordan as they face the most difficult moment of their lives.

Three years ago, Katy was diagnosed with colon cancer. She has undergone all of the treatments available, resulting in all of the terrible side effects associated with cancer treatment. Both Katy and Matt have fought as hard as they could, but the options have run out. They have decided to forgo any further treatment.

Katy is now in hospice care.

To know Katy and Matt is to know love. They met through a mutual love of theater and after 10 years of marriage, they are still hopelessly infatuated with each other. Katy’s eyes still light up when she looks at Matt and he still thinks she’s the most beautiful thing he’s ever seen. To imagine one without the other is heartbreaking.

During this awful time, Matt was also out of work for an extended time. He recently started a new job, but that loss of income, combined with thousands of dollars of medical expenses, has created a terrible hardship for them.

The burden of financial hardship at a time like is an just an added cruelty. Please give what you can so that we can show Matt and Katy how much they are loved and let them focus on what’s really important.
